Individualized Differentiated Teaching Program
The Individualized Differentiated Instruction Program (IDLE) is designed to provide academic support to students with specific learning needs, based on the recommendations of specialists. This program is not part of Special Education; rather, it focuses on offering tailored education that responds to each student's individual needs.
Recognizing that each student has a unique learning style, the curriculum is adapted to support their progress. The primary objective of the "PEID" is for students to achieve the standards necessary to be integrated into the grade corresponding to their age, allowing them to advance at their own pace. In subjects that require it, students can work up to two academic levels below their grade level, using the standards of the Puerto Rico Department of Education as a reference.
